THE GAPS DIET
Although it was first designed to heal autism, depression, anxiety, dyslexia and schizophrenia it is now widely used for autoimmune conditions, arthritis, skin conditions, digestive disorders, and nervous system disorders. The GAPS diet was created by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride who holds a degree in Medicine and Postgraduate degrees in both Neurology and Human Nutrition. In her clinic in Cambridge she specializes in nutrition for children and adults with behavioral and learning disabilities, and adults with digestive and immune system disorders. This diet is meant to be followed strictly for at least two years.
